El Angolo is an enclosed hunting ground in Peru.

Description

This hunting preserve in the region of Piura, provinces of Sullana and Talara was established July 1, 1975 through law. It has an area of 650 square kilometres.

The preserve is a natural area of big beauty with dry forests of the Peruvian northwest, for which a big area is dedicated to the conservation of the ecosystem. The park contains 17 types of mammals, 150 of birds, 13 of reptiles and 10 of fishes.

It offers opportunities for sports hunting, ecotourism and hiking through the practically virgin environment with fauna and flora typical to the region.
