Hail the Sun is an American post-hardcore band from Chico, California that combines progressive elements with post-hardcore music. The band was signed at the beginning of 2013 to Blue Swan Records, a record label founded by Will Swan of Dance Gavin Dance.
Shane Gann worked on the game Rocksmith 2014 and had their song Eight-Ball, Coroner's Pocket featured in the game as unlockable content.[2]
Aric Garcia has toured with and contributed to Dance Gavin Dance's latest album, Instant Gratification.[3]
Donovan Melero is also the vocalist for the band Sianvar.
As of 2015, the band has toured with Dance Gavin Dance, I the Mighty and Stolas. They are now signed with Equal Vision Records and have released a demo version of the song 'Paranoia' from their new album coming in 2016 which will be released on 6/17 2016.[4]
