Hippotion talboti is a moth of the Sphingidae family. It is known from São Tomé and Príncipe.

The length of the forewings is about 29 mm. It is distinguishable from all other Hippotion species by the greenish-brown ground colour of the forewing upperside together with the red and black hindwing upperside. The forewing upperside ground colour is khaki with a slight greenish tone. The discal spot is black, small but conspicuous, just distal to which is a diffuse darker brown patch. Only the first and fourth postmedian bands are well developed. These are dark brown, with darker vein dots on most veins. The hindwing upperside is similar to Hippotion eson, but the black basal area is more extensive and the postmedian band is deep pinkish-orange.
