Imperial College Sinfonietta (also known as IC Sinfonietta or just Sinfonietta) is a full symphony orchestra with 60-70 musicians from Imperial College London, ranging from first-year undergraduates to post-graduates and staff. It was founded by Daniel Capps in 1998, and is currently conducted by William Carslake.

Repertoire

Sinfonietta performs concerts in and around South Kensington at the end of the Autumn and Spring terms, and often provide opportunities for Imperial students to perform concerti. The orchestra performs a wide range of works, mainly Romantic and Twentieth Century. Recently they have also performed modern film scores, including a performance of selections from Disney's Fantasia set to the film.
