The Independent Regionalist Party (Spanish: Partido Regionalista Independiente, PRI) is a centrist political party in Chile. It is a regionalist party ideology, which has nationwide presence.[2] It is intended to be an alternative to the dominant coalitions in the Chilean electoral system, the New Majority and the Alliance.

It was founded on July 4, 2006, following the merger of the National Alliance of Independents (ANI) and Regionalist Action Party of Chile (PAR), grouped moves before Independent Regional Force.[3] In 2008, joined a group of former members of the Christian Democratic Party, who were known as Los Colorines (the Redheads), referring to the hair color of their leader, Adolfo Zaldivar.[4]

For the 2009-10 presidential election did not support any candidate. For the parliamentary election, the party joined the coalition "Clean Chile Vote Happy", along with Broad Social Movement and Country Force. Got the election of three deputies, who later left the party.[5] For the 2013 presidential election, the Regionalist Party of the Independents selected as candidate political scientist Ricardo Israel, who ran for mayor of Santiago in the 2008 municipal election.

In 2015, the PRI forms in conjunction with National Renewal, the Independent Democratic Union and Political Evolution, the centre-right coalition Chile Vamos.
