Jogendra Nath Hazarika(Assamese: যোগেন্দ্ৰনাথ হাজৰিকা) also Known J.N. Hazarika was an Indian Politician.He was the Chief Minister of Assam from 9 September 1979 to 11 December 1979. He was elected to the Lok Sabha, lower house of the Parliament of India from the Dibrugarh constituency, Assam in 1951, 1957, 1962 and 1967.[1][2][3][4]
Early life
Born on 9 September 1924 in Sonowal Kacharis family at Tengakhat Mawza, Lakhimpur District , now Dibrugarh District in Assam . He passed primary education from their home town. In 1949 he did graduation from University of Calcutta and also passed L.L.B from there.[5][better source needed]
