KDU University College (or KDU) is a private college in Malaysia. KDU is an acronym for Kolej Damansara Utama. It was established in 1983 with the launch of the first main campus in Petaling Jaya. This campus was later complemented by a second at Section 13 in the same city and a third in Penang. KDU offers education programmes at the Certificate, Diploma, Degree and Masters levels and has a student population of over 6,000, where an estimated 25% are international students from over 55 countries.[1]
KDU is owned by the Paramount Corporation Berhad, a property development company which has diversified into education through KDU University College (Damansara Jaya campus & Section 13 campus), KDU College Penang, KDU Management Development Centre and KDU Smart Schools (private national and international schools for primary and secondary school students)

KDU was founded in 1983 with the construction of the first campus in Damansara Jaya.[2] Since then, two more campuses were opened in Section 13, Petaling Jaya and Penang respectively. A fourth campus is being developed in Glenmarie, Shah Alam.[1]
