The Lahore School of Economics (LSE) is a private non profit university based in Lahore, Pakistan. Established in 1993 and chartered by the Government of Punjab in January 1997. It has currently 200 faculty members and over 3000 students in the undergraduate and graduate Levels.[1][2] Its current rector and founder is Dr. Shahid Amjad Chaudhry a graduate of McGill University.

The Lahore School of Economics has two campuses: the Main campus and the City campus. The Main campus, spread over 35 acres (140,000 m2), is located on the intersection of DHA Phase VI, Main Boulevard and Burki Road. The City campus is located in Gulberg near the central Liberty Market area. Its faculty comprise over 150 permanent faculty members with specialisations in Economics, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Mathematics & Statistics, Environmental Studies, Media Studies, Art and Design.[3] Its business program is ranked among the best in Pakistan according to the Higher Education Commission.[4][5]
