Lemar is a supermarket which runs in Northern Cyprus. Lemar is also one of the biggest supermarket chains in Northern Cyprus.

History

Lemar was established in August 1997 in Lefkoşa, Northern Cyprus. The public liked Lemar significantly, so the chain rapidly grew to 10 stores. Then, the progress slowed down and now Lemar faces competition with other supermarkets like Tempo, Supreme and Starling.

Lemar Cineplex

Lemar Cineplex is a cinema company that was established in 1999. The original lounge was in Lefkoșa, however it later expanded to one more in Lefkoșa, 2 in Girne and 1 in Güzelyurt.

Lemar Café

The café is located within some of Lemar supermarkets and offers a range of food, snacks and hot or cold beverages.

Burger City

Burger City is a fast food restaurant which is usually located on the site of a Lemar Supermarket. The restaurant is based on the international Burger King fast food restaurant. Burger City also sells a similar range to Burger King, and retains similar prices - but in Turkish Lira.
