Lion of the Blogosphere, known as Half Sigma until 2012, is a blog originally started in 2005.[1] From his first post, the blog author, who lives in New York, no longer identified as a Republican or a Libertarian. The blog discusses current social and political developments from a moderately Alt-right perspective.

There is an emphasis on the motivations of social classes and public figures, political and cultural trends, statistics, and the existence of human biodiversity. The best way to get wealthy is to exploit the principle of "value transference", a form of rent seeking.[2]

His posts have predicted the general outline of Donald Trump's campaign for the presidency, whom he supported with some reservations.[3] There are several posts a week (some of which discuss breaking news or live events), which gather dozens of comments. He continued to discuss Trump's presidency, and the difficulties of achieving his political goals.

The blog has been cited approvingly by other human biodiversity writers.[4] However, it has been criticized from both the traditional left and right wings; for example for supporting legal abortion for members of the underclass as one of the few means of effective eugenics at the present time.[5] He has also been called a neoreactionary.[6]
