The Australian Ambassador to Nepal is the Australian Government's foremost diplomatic representative in Nepal. The Ambassador resides in Kathmandu.[1]

Between 1970 and April 1984, Australian representation was carried out by a non-resident Ambassador based in the Australian High Commission in New Delhi. The Australian Embassy in Kathmandu was opened in April 1984.[2]
