The long-billed honeyeater (Melilestes megarhynchus) is a species of bird in the Meliphagidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Melilestes.[2]

Distribution and habitat

It is found in West Papua, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea,[1] where its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.[3]
