Mama Drama is the third studio album released by American rapper Mia X, which was released on October 27, 1998, on No Limit Records, distributed by Priority/EMI Records, and featured production from Master P and Beats By the Pound. Many of the guests who appeared on the previous album returned for guest appearances on the album including Fat Joe and Charlie Wilson (singer).[disambiguation needed].
Background and singles
The album would turn out to be Mia X's most successful, charting at #9 on the Billboard 200 and #3 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts. The single "What'cha Wanna Do" also found huge success, making it to #12 on the Billboard Hot 100, 3 on the Hot Rap Tracks and 9 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks. this one. There was also a single called "Imma Shine" which was also a huge success peaking at # 8 on the Top/Hip Hop Singles & Tracks and #13 on the BillBoard 100. Despite its success this is Mia X's last album with No Limit.
