Manchester City Council election, 2014

Elections to Manchester City Council will be held on 22 May 2014,[1] on the same day as the United Kingdom local elections, 2014 and the United Kingdom component of the European Parliament election, 2014. One-third of the council is up for election, with each successful candidate to serve a four-year term of office, expiring in 2018. Due to this 'in thirds' format, direct comparison with results has to be made to the 2010 poll.
