Manish Vatsalya is an Indian writer, actor, director and producer who has written the story and co-written the screenplay and directed the Bollywood crime genre film Jeena Hai Toh Thok Daal and Manish has also acted in Jeena Hai Toh Thok Daal and Teri Deewani Music Video by Kailash Kher.[1]
Early life
Manish Vatsalya (born 1980), in Purnia, Bihar is an Indian Filmmaker working in the Indian Film Industry. Manish Vatsalya was born in an affluent family to Mr Shambhu Nath Mishra; mom, Mrs. Hiran Mishra a Housewife; Younger Brother Ashish Vatsalya by Profession an Engineer and respected humanitarian of the small town. He completed his schooling at Don Bosco High School and later studied dentistry at Dharbhanga Medical College. He was due to start his medical practice in his home town but the acting bug bit him at just the right time. After combating against a lot of opposition from his family and friends he decided to pack his bags and headed for the city of dreams, Mumbai. Initially, Manish endured a horde of difficulties and troubles as he tried to find his feet in this unfamiliar city of Mumbai. He was overwhelmed by the enormous city where he was living without a godfather of any sorts.
Career
After a couple of years of struggle he landed a spot in the acclaimed music video ‘Teri Deewani’ sung by Sufi maestro Kailash Kher which gained him a lot of recognition in the youth.
His directorial debut was Jeena Hai Toh Thok Daal, which was released in 2012 and won the Best Foreign Feature Film award at the Mexico International Film Festival.[2]
after completing this Manish went for making his thriller film starring Neil Nitin Mukesh name Dussehra(2016). which is still in post production.
