Meenangadi is an old town situated on the highway NH 212 between Kalpetta and Sulthan Bathery in Wayanad District,[1] in Kerala, India. This place is one amoung the Provinces where the existence of Dolmens provide an historical evidence of earlier civilisation.Coffee, Pepper,Ginger and Baboon(adakka) are the main crops of this area. The valleys have large paddy fields. Meenangadi is famous for its Fish Market,Cattle Market. The nearest railway station and airport are at Kozhikode, 86 km from Meenangadi.
