The Miss Michigan competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Michigan in the Miss America pageant. Michigan has won the Miss America crown on five occasions.

1966 Nancy Ackert Miss Battle Creek Gayle Chancey of Dearborn was crowned Miss Michigan but was disqualified prior to Miss America for taking a car without permission and taking a road trip without telling her family. She was replaced by Ackert who received the news while in Hoopeston, Illinois competing at National Sweetheart.

1927 No Miss Michigan Charlotte Jane Lowe competed as Miss Battle Creek and finished as a Semi-finalist at Miss America. Also representing Michigan were: Ruth Bushroe, Miss Flint; Florence Nina Clement, Miss Kalamazoo; Margherite Straus, Miss Lansing; Margaret Tinney, Miss Pontiac; and Charlotte Elaine Bowman, Miss Saginaw.
1926 No Miss Michigan Joyce Jean Hurd competed as Miss Lansing and was a Finalist at Miss America. Also representing Michigan were Gertrude Fisher, Miss Battle Creek and Ruth Mae Fowler, Miss Detroit.
1925 No Miss Michigan Jane Porter competed as Miss Detroit and was a Finalist at Miss America. Margherita Strang competed as Miss Lansing.
1922 No Miss Michigan Beth Madsen competed as Miss Detroit.
