Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt Ltd is a Mumbai-based production company as a part of Hindi film industry. The Nadiadwala family have been in film production since 1955, continuing this legacy Sajid Nadiadwala established the company in 2005.[1]

Background
The Nadiadwala’s have been in the film industry for three generations, starting with A.K. Nadiadwala followed by Sulieman Nadiadwala. Presently, they are celebrating 60 years of their existence.[2] The first film to be produced under this banner was Inspector(1956) by Abdul Karim Nadiadwala himself. He further went on to produce movies like, Taj Mahal (1963) and Chitralekha (1964).[3][4]
History
Sajid Nadiadwala is responsible for continuing the Nadiadwala Grandson legacy and taking forward the banner by producing many new films. There have been many blockbusters produced under this banner. Recently the banner won many accolades for producing Kick featuring Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez that turned out to be one of the highest grosser of Box Office for the year.[5] Apart from Kick, the production house gained a lot of success with 2 States starring Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor that entered the 100 Crore club. Awards
Housefull, a comedy blockbuster produced by Nadiadwala Grandson starring Akshay Kumar, DeepikaPadukone, RiteshDeshmukh, Lara Dutta Bhupati, Arjun Rampal and BomanIrani won the Stardust Best Comedy Film Award in 2011.[7] Akshay Kumar has also won the award for best actor in a comedy role category. Ritesh Deshmukh also won the best Actor in a supporting role award for the film.[8]
Upcoming projects
Nadiadwala Grandson has quite a few movies lined up for release in the coming year. Phantom, starring Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif directed by Kabir Khan is set to release in 2015. Baaghi starring Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor is also in the making under the same banner. Dishoom, starring Varun Dhawan, John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez will be directed by Rohit Dhawan.[9] Other movies that are lined up are Housefull 3 starring Akshay Kumar, Tamasha featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone which is directed by Imtiaz Ali.[10]
