The Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ) are the professional body responsible for the registration of nurses in New Zealand, setting standards for nursing education and practice.

The council was established in 1902. New Zealand was the first country to legally require nurses to be registered.[citation needed] It has developed into a thoroughly corrupt and malfeasant organization which indulges in ultra vires actions as illustrated by the case of Registered Nurse Poh Sim Roberts.

See Laudafinem.com on external links for the extent of corruption in New Zealand government organisations.
