Odd Future Records is an American independent record label founded by rapper and producer Tyler, The Creator of Odd Future in 2011.

History

Odd Future Records was founded by Tyler the Creator in 2011 as a means to release material from the Odd Future collective. Despite this, members Earl Sweatshirt and Frank Ocean did not sign. Pyramid Vritra also did not sign, however his collaborative project with Matt Martians, The Jet Age of Tomorrow, did. Hardcore punk band Trash Talk signed in 2012. Trash Talk were the first act to sign to Odd Future who were not involved in the initial collective. In 2015, Syd tha Kyd and Matt Martians' collaborative project, The Internet, expanded to include several members also not part of the original collective.

2011: Purple Naked Ladies

On December 20, 2011, The Internet's debut studio album, Purple Naked Ladies, was released.

2012: The OF Tape Vol. 2, Numbers & 119

On March 20, 2012, Odd Future's debut studio album, The OF Tape Vol. 2, was released. On October 9, 2012, MellowHype's second studio album, Numbers, and Trash Talk's fourth studio album, 119, were released.

2013: Wolf, Feel Good & MellowHigh

On April 2, 2013, Tyler, The Creator's second studio album, Wolf, was released. On September 20, 2013, The Internet's second studio album, Feel Good, was released. On October 31, 2013, MellowHigh's self-titled debut studio album, MellowHigh, was released.

2014: No Peace

On May 27, 2014, Trash Talk's fifth studio album, No Peace, was released.

2015: Cherry Bomb & Ego Death

On April 13, 2015, Tyler, The Creator's third studio album, Cherry Bomb, was released. On June 30, 2015, The Internet's third studio album, Ego Death, was released.

2016: Genesis

On March 24, 2016, Domo Genesis's debut studio album, Genesis, was released.
