Patrick Rheaume Joseph Traverse (born March 14, 1974) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who is currently an Unrestricted Free Agent. He most recently played with the Hamburg Freezers in Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL).

Playing career
Traverse was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in the third round, 50th overall in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft. Traverse is a defenceman that has played for five different NHL teams throughout his career.
Traverse was traded to the San Jose Sharks on December 18, 2006, in exchange for Mathieu Biron. He has played for the Sharks' AHL affiliate, the Worcester Sharks. He has frequently played in the AHL in between NHL stints, he is 6'4" tall, 207 lb (94 kg) in weight and shoots left.
After playing one season for DEG Metro Stars in the DEL, Traverse signed with rival Hamburg Freezers to a one-year contract on March 19, 2010.[1]
