 Following the success of their debut single "Sound of the Underground", which spent four weeks at number one, the group has been successful in achieving a string of twenty consecutive top ten singles (including three more number ones) and two number one albums in the United Kingdom. All of their albums have been certified platinum, with their greatest hits album The Sound of Girls Aloud selling over one million copies. They have been nominated for five BRIT Awards, winning Best Single in 2009 for "The Promise". The group has sold ten million records worldwide. Girls Aloud's collaborations with Brian Higgins and his songwriting and production team Xenomania have earned the group critical acclaim, due to an innovative approach to mainstream pop music. The group has become one of the few UK reality television acts to achieve continued success, amassing a fortune of £30 million by May 2010. Guinness World Records lists them as "Most Successful Reality TV Group" in the 2007 edition. The Out of Control Tour is Girls Aloud's fourth arena-based concert tour and their fifth tour overall. Thirty-two dates were announced for the arena tour. The group performed three nights at London's O2 Arena and two at Wembley Arena. Nadine Elizabeth Louise Coyle (born 15 June 1985) is an Irish singer, songwriter, and actress. Coyle first rose to fame in 2001, after entering the Irish version of the talent show Popstars. As one of the winners of the show, Coyle was selected to become a member of the group Six. However, she could not join the group because she was underage. Coyle was encouraged by Louis Walsh to compete on the UK's Popstars: The Rivals. She thus landed herself a place in the final line-up, becoming a member of Girls Aloud. During Girls Aloud's hiatus, Coyle started work on solo material. Her debut album Insatiable and its title track were released in November 2010 through her own label Black Pen Records in partnership with Tesco. The album was a commercial failure. "The Promise" is a pop song performed by British all-female pop group Girls Aloud, written and produced by Brian Higgins and his production team Xenomania.
