Rarities is a compilation album by Swedish pop duo Roxette, released on 17 February 1995 in Asia and South America.[1]
Album information
The album is composed of songs previously released only as singles. It was only supposed to be sold in South East Asia for three months as an extra promotion for the Crash! Boom! Bang! tour which took place in that part of the world at the time when the album was released.[2]
"Vulnerable", "Fingertips '93", "Dressed For Success", "Fireworks" and "Spending My Time" are remix versions previously only available on singles and not included on any Roxette album.[2]
"The Sweet Hello, The Sad Goodbye", "The Voice" and "One Is Such a Lonely Number" were previously only available as bonus tracks on singles and not included on any Roxette album. "The Sweet Hello, The Sad Goodbye" had been originally recorded in April 1991 as a single by Thomas Anders (of Modern Talking fame) and also appeared in 1993 on the album, Over My Heart by American pop chanteuse Laura Branigan.
"Joyride", "The Look", "Dangerous" (all from MTV Unplugged) and "Almost Unreal" (demo) were all released as extra songs on singles. These versions of the songs were previously not available on any Roxette album.[2]
