Rick Lovato (born 1992), is an American football long snapper for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Old Dominion University. He was signed by the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent.

Early years

Lovato grew up in Middletown Township, New Jersey and played football at Middletown High School South.[1]

College career

Lovato attended Old Dominion University, where he started at long snapper on all punts and field goals from 2011 until 2014. While in college, Lovato had no errant snaps in 50 consecutive games. He majored in exercise science.

Professional career

Chicago Bears

Lovato was signed by the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent on May 8, 2015. He was subsequently released on August 31, 2015.

Green Bay Packers

On December 22, 2015, Lovato signed with the Green Bay Packers to replace the injured Brett Goode.[2]
