Robert Burns is a public art statue of the Scottish poet Robert Burns by the Scottish artist William Grant Stevenson. The 10 metre (33 ft) bronze figure depicts the popular Scottish poet standing with notebook in hand.[1] The original is in Kilmarnock in Scotland, as the centrepiece of the Burns Monument, Kilmarnock. A copy is located in Burns Commons on the east side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.[2][3] This statue on its plinth of pink Nova Scotia granite stands 23 feet (7.0 m) tall. Both copies were cast in Edinburgh.
