Robert G. Webb

Robert G. Webb is an expert in the systematics and biogeography of reptiles and amphibians and professor emeritus of biological science at the University of Texas, El Paso.

Webb has over a hundred publications to his name. He has specialised in the southwestern United States and Mexico, and in the systematics of the turtle family Trionychidae worldwide.[1]

The snake Lampropeltis webbi is named after him.[2]
