Rosary Academy is a Roman Catholic all-girls college preparatory Academy located in Fullerton, California. It is accredited by the Western Catholic Educational Association and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and is a member of the National Catholic Educational Association. Rosary's brother school is Servite High School and its sister school is Cornelia Connelly High School. Students are required to take an entrance exam in order to be admitted to the school.

Rosary was opened in 1965 by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles, and was originally administered by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange. In 1976 it came under the direction of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange at the latter's creation.[2]

Rosary offers a needs-based scholarship program as well as scholarships in various areas to incoming freshman students.

Red and Gold

One of Rosary Academy's most novel traditions is that of "Red and Gold", an annual school-wide, student-run musical competition. From January to March, the students are divided into two teams (the Red and Gold teams) which each have student captains in the categories of script, drama, choral, dance, drill, props, publicity, media, fashion, historian, house manager, and stage tech, as well as two overall producers. A neutral ("White") team also participates, made up of ASB members as well as representatives from the junior and senior classes. The White Team helps to facilitate the logistical portion of the production and announces the winner at the end of the last performance. The goal of the annual Red & Gold competition is to feature talents of students but also to instill leadership skills and promote teamwork across all grade levels.

Stage collapse from March 8, 2014, at the Servite High School

On March 8, 2014, the theatre stage in the associate Servite High School collapsed during the stage play injuring 25 young students.[3] The group of the Rosary High School actors performed the comedy Theatrical, during the collapse.[4] At the time of the collapse of the theatrical stage decided 250 persons on the platform.[5]
