Rydal railway station is located on the Main Western line in New South Wales, Australia. It serves the village of Rydal, opening on 1 July 1870.[1] On 14 March 1915, the line was duplicated with a second platform built. The station closed on 27 May 1989, with the track lifted from the 1915 built platform in 1998 when the line was singled.[2][3]
The station building has been converted to a library.
Services
Rydal is served by NSW TrainLink's daily Central West XPT service operating between Sydney and Dubbo.[4] Even though it passes through the station, the Bathurst Bullet does not stop.[5]
