Smithton Township is located in St. Clair County, Illinois. As of the 2010 census, its population was 4,275 and it contained 1,684 housing units.[1]
Geography
According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 32.91 square miles (85.2 km2), of which 32.28 square miles (83.6 km2) (or 98.09%) is land and 0.63 square miles (1.6 km2) (or 1.91%) is water.[1]
