Overview
The show was first aired on March 20, 2004 and was shown every weekday. It was hosted by Jolina Magdangal.
The co-hosts are StarStruck graduates Mark Herras & Jennylyn Mercado (Ultimate Survivors) Rainier Castillo & Yasmien Kurdi (First Prince & First Princess) together with the (StarStruck Avengers) Nadine Samonte, Dion Ignacio, Christian Esteban, Katrina Halili, Tyron Perez†, Sheena Halili, Jade Lopez, Anton dela Paz, Cristine Reyes and Alvin Aragon.
The show featured young contestants aging from 5 to 7 years old. The rules for picking the two "Ultimate Survivors" were the same as the senior version of Starstruck. Seven boys and seven girls, also known as Final 14 K, were picked among hundreds who applied for the contest.
During Fridays, those contestants who failed the tests during the week were eliminated by the StarStruck Council composed of entertainment guru Joey de Leon, award-winning actor Christopher de Leon and actress Janice de Belen. And former child superstar Aiza Seguerra. After weeks of elimination, the Final 14 K were trimmed down to 2 boys and 2 girls where the Ultimate Survivors were to be determined by the public and the StarStruck Council. The winners of the contest were given GMA Network contracts (to appear on GMA TV shows) and some cash.
The Final 14 Kids Survivors
When the Final 14 K was chosen, they are assigned to different challenges every week that will hone their acting, singing, and dancing abilities. Every Friday, one is meant to leave the competition until there were just 6 others who are left. From Final 6, there will be two of them who will be eliminated and after the elimination of the two, the Final 4 will be revealed. The Final 4 will be battling with each other on the Final Judgment. People will choose who they want to win the competition by text voting. 30% of the result will come from the text votes and the remaining 70% is from the StarStruck council.
