Sun Girl is a fictional character, a supervillain published by DC Comics. She debuted in Teen Titans v3 #42 (March 2007), and was created by Geoff Johns and Tony Daniel.

Fictional character biography

Deborah Morgna is a member of Deathstroke's Titans East. She is a powerful manipulator, as credited by Deathstroke, who is quite disturbed by her. He says that she reminds of him of former Titan Terra and his daughter Rose.

While battling Miss Martian, Sun Girl mentions that, where she comes from, she and M'gann know each other quite well, and also states that that hasn't happened for M'gann yet.

In Teen Titans (v3) #44, it was revealed that she is from the future and is romantically involved with Inertia. Miss Martian is their personal slave in the future, they have stated. She is eventually defeated when Miss Martian dives into the ocean and douses her with water. Sun Girl is incarcerated by the authorities.

Her real name and supervillain name suggest a connection with Dirk Morgna (aka Sun Boy of the Legion of Super-Heroes).[1]

She later returns as a member of Superboy Prime's Legion of Doom.[2]

Powers and abilities

By harnessing power from the sun, Sun Girl can generate and manipulate flames of intense temperature.
