Teeshay (born Teeshay Shah) is an Indian actor, model, host, and director working in the Indian film industry Bollywood and regional cinema. He is known for his work as a host on the Zoom TV Channel show Planet Bollywood.[1] His latest film release was The Perfect Girl, in which he got rave reviews for his performance by critics. He did his first commercial for Thumbs up with Salman Khan and Sushmita Sen and since then has done more than 70 commercials with major brands. He has written and directed short plays for balancing act productions.[2]

Life and career
Early life
Teeshay was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, in a Gujarati family to Mayuna Shah and Deepak Shah. He has done his schooling from G.D. Somani school, Mumbai, Maharashtra, junior college from K.C. college and Bachelor in Computer Engineering from Shah and Anchor college.
Teeshay has learnt martial arts from Sensei Rajesh Thakkar since the age of 7 years and has represented India in Japan in 1992 for The open Karate World Tournament. Teeshay has done acting workshops from Kishore Namit Kapoor, Kaizaad Kotwal, Divya Palat, Adishakti and also CD workshops from Los Angeles.He has learned dance from Shiamak Davar, Ashley Lobo, Abhishek Zaveri and Bhavna Sharma.
Career
Teeshay has done Bollywood movies Blood Money, Fast Forward, Yahaan Sabki Lagi Hai,[3] The Perfect Girl,[4][5] and Regional movie I Wish. and TV shows Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Love By Chance,[6] Everest, Gumrah: End of Innocence, Yeh Hai Aashiqui Siyappa Ishq Ka,[7] Gulmohar Grand.
Ashutosh Gowariker with whom Teeshay worked in Everest, praised his talent and referred him for TV show Gulmohar Grand.[8]
