Timmy Dooley (born 13 February 1969) is an Irish Fianna Fáil politician. He has been a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Clare constituency since 2007, and was a member of the 22nd Seanad Éireann on the Administrative Panel from 2002 to 2007.[1]
He was elected at the 2007 general election for the Clare constituency after topping the poll with 10,791 votes.[2]
Dooley was educated at Mountshannon National School, Scarriff Community College and at University College Dublin, where he was chairman of the Kevin Barry Cumann of Fianna Fáil in 1989. He is married to Emer McMahon and they have one daughter.
He is the Fianna Fáil spokesperson on Transport, Tourism and Sport and also serves as one of the four Vice-Presidents of the party as elected by the members at the 73rd Árd Fheis.[3]
