History

Vaartha is the first Telugu daily in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to have facilitated Information Technology[citation needed] in publishing all the news that broke at as late as 4 a.m. Vaartha was an extremely popular newspaper at the beginning of its launch due to its crisp articles and latest coverage of news. It competed with the likes of Eenadu and Udayam and many people across the state started switching to Vaartha.[citation needed]. However, its readership sharply dived down over a period of time and today it no longer enjoys the numero uno osition it had once. It is placed in the 4th position {citation needed} after Eenadu, Sakshi and Andhra Jyothy. Vaartha comes from the stables of A.G.A Publications owned by the famous Hyderabad based Sanghi Group.
