Varna International Ballet Competition

The Varna International Ballet Competition is the oldest, and arguably, one of the most prestigious ballet competitions in the world.[1] The competition is founded in 1964 and is held every two years in Varna, Bulgaria. A plethora of famous dancers have gained their first international recognition at the competition.[2]
