Vihiga County is an administrative region in the former Western Province of Kenya whose headquarters is at vihiga, the largest town in the county. The county has a population of 554,622 [1] (2009 census) and an area of 563 km².[2] Vihiga County was split from Kakamega County in 1990.[1]

- Luanda Constituency with Chris Omulele ( ODM )as its current M.P, who garnered 9,767 votes against his closest competitor Apungu who got 6,588 votes.( March 2013 Elections).
