Lucasfilm launches Star Wars animated preschool series
Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures is an animated series executive-produced by Lucasfilm’s James Waugh (Star Wars: Visions), Jacqui Lopez (Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi’s Return), and Josh Rimes (Star Wars: The Clone Wars). Michael Olson serves as showrunner and executive producer. Elliot Bour serves as supervising director. Bour was previously the animator of Aladdin, Mulan, Pocahontas and The Lion King.
Jamaal Avery Jr. voices Jedi Youngling Kai Brightstar. Emma Berman voices Nash Durango, a young pilot. Dee Bradley Baker voices Jedi Youngling Nubs and Juliet Donenfeld voices Lys Solay, another Jedi in training. Legendary Jedi Master Yoda is voiced by Piotr Michael and Jonathan Lipow plays friendly droid RJ-83.
