Khronos Members

The Khronos royalty-free industry standards are recognized and respected around the world, and are a testament to the incredible contributions that our members make each week to drive the evolution of these vital standards and ecosystems. Khronos membership can put your organization at the forefront of these developments, lets you collaborate with other industry leaders, and provides IP and trademark protection.

Multi-Levels of Membership

Khronos offers multiple membership levels, making it easy for organizations of all sizes to get involved. Members can participate in any working group that is developing standards relevant to their business interests. Open to all organizations, Khronos operates under a multi-company governance model that ensures no single entity has control. Khronos also maintains cooperative liaisons with other industry associations and SDOs (Standard Setting Organizations).

Promoter Members

Contributor Members

This level is available to any organization that wishes to join and allows for full participation and voting rights in any working group the member wishes to join. View full membership benefits.

Associate Members

Associate membership is available to any organization with fewer than 100 employees and provides for full participation in any working group the member wishes to join, but no voting rights. View full membership benefits.

Academic Members

This level is available to accredited Academic Institutions and provides for full participation in any working group the member wishes to join, but no voting rights. View full membership benefits.

Non-Profit Members

This level is available to registered Non-Profit organization and provides for full participation in any working group the member wishes to join, but no voting rights. View full membership benefits.

3D Commerce Members

This level is available to any organization that wishes to participate in the 3D Commerce (3DC) working group. Organizations who have joined as 3DC only members have voting rights in 3DC only. Other general Khronos members will have voting rights according to their membership level.
