he does have one swing-esque album. "Swing when you're winning". Not traditional by any means, but can see him getting the tag for it.

except for sqz and prima, but they really do not represent swing music very well

This list features the top scrobbled artists who are tagged with swing. It's only natural that more recent artists like Michael Bubble and Robbie Williams (no matter how infuriating it is to see them here) are going to feature higher. And as a trend, people these days prefer vocal to instrumental music so Rat Pack type singers are also going to feature higher. It would be great to see Louis Armstrong, Fletcher Henderson, Duke Ellington, Count Bassie, Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, Lester Young and the likes to be featured higher. But also remember that these guys were playing with everyone and by themselves so their scrobbles are spread across many different artist pages: For example Duke Ellington and his Orchestra, Duke Ellington's Orchestra, Duke Ellington in small bands, Duke Ellington with...., and so on. Music was much more collaborative back then...they were entertainers before they were artists.

I could use the help from you jazz experts/affectionados. I'd like to know if you think my music is considered "swing" or fits into a different category. I have an account on last.fm but I am providing a link where you can listen to songs in their entirety (for free.) Just go to the link, hover your mouse over the "Artists Widget" and click on a song. http://www.tunecore.com/music/anthonypmaurosr I realize that the songs may not be to peoples tastes but, again, I am curious about feedback on your thoughts on what you believe is type of music and if you can list some similar artists. Thanks for your help. (If I'm violating a last.fm policy accept my apologies feel free to ignore or delete this post.)
