Juggling multiple research projects at once. How can you efficiently collect data?

I think the prioritisation should be coupled and classified with priority parameters. Is the data a technical priority or research and computational priority. This will be concise in juggling the blockers first and then stabbing the non blockers effectively.

Once your areas are prioritised in terms of what your quantum of data collection for research strategy is, I think categorizing linear and parallel tasks should be taken into consideration. If the data can be collected parallels through more delegated or semi automated the quality of data collection wouldn't be compromised. This also eliminates the dependency of waiting for completion of data research to start next until and unless it can never be parallel. A little improvement parallel rather than aiming for perfection in data research also eliminates any fine-tuning in approaches and learning in different parallel data research tasks.

I feel that a more universal templatises and interoperable way of data capture should be thought of before testing out the hypothesis directly. This might not necessarily mean that you are copying exact research template or survey instrument as is but you are imagining all possible ways that it can affect the output. PROMS are perfect examples

Technology is certainly an powerful enabler. Eg if you use or leverage technologies like GCP the public data sets are readily available and you may not necessarily need to recollect common indicators and reengineer your collection sources. Analysis is much stronger when technology is your friend. As they say if you want to go fast go with technology, it you want to go long go with systems
