Since its inception, ASU+GSV has believed that there is virtually no limit to what a determined, collaborative, and entrepreneurial group of human beings can accomplish — especially a group as uniquely positioned and purposeful as this community. As I explore the path of a Systems Builder & Innovation Strategist for the Global K-12 landscape, I attempt to address my blind spots with various perspectives. This #Diwali eve, I participated in ASU+GSV Summit StartUp Academy program - Winds of Change: Advice for Startups Navigating the K-12 Landscape. From learning what the K-12 StartUp ecosystem operates to understanding the role of policy implementation, the session shared a collection of insights from decade of experience. Two things that stuck with me were: - Hardeep Gulati's emphasis on 'Solve what is Mission Critical' and the mindset shift needed for EdTech investments. - Deborah Quazzo's love for deep-rooted knowledge for India's Education ecosystem. Looking forward to more initiatives by GSV Ventures and Francis Rosenberg!
