Richard Helmstetter was a legend and a true innovator in the golf industry. From Big Bertha to the S2H2 and the RCH line that featured his name, his designs paved the way for Callaway to create Demonstrably Superior and Pleasingly Different products. He was so passionate about his work, and for making the game more enjoyable for golfers. More importantly, Richard was a great man; he cared deeply about the next generation of club designers, mentored so many colleagues, and treated everyone warmly and with respect. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.
