As educators and researchers, we are responsible for embracing these advancements while steering the course towards ethical and responsible use. It's about preparing the next generation for a future where AI is seamlessly woven into the fabric of academia. Let's come together to ensure that AI empowers, not hinders, academic progress. Could you join the conversation on how we can achieve this goal? #AIinEducation#FutureofResearch
Ever think about how AI is like electricity in the modern world? I found some amazing ideas by the AI genius Kai-Fu Lee that really blew my mind. 🤯 Think about a world where AI does more than just do math. It changes businesses, drives innovation, and even tailors education to help us reach our full potential!
But there's a catch: being powerful means being responsible. It's about privacy, job stability, and making sure that technology brings people together instead of separating them. There is a fine line between growth and danger, and we need to get it right.
You can think of AI as your co-pilot as you navigate the complicated world of the digital age. It would make life easier, work more efficiently, and learn how to take you on a personalized trip. What are the chances? It's endless.
It's time for a big change in the way we teach. Kai-Fu is right when he says that instead of teaching students how to take tests, we should be raising students to be critical thinkers, creators, and empathetic individuals. AI can do boring jobs automatically, which gives teachers more time to teach these important skills. How does this affect us? To prepare the next generation for a world with AI, we need to support and fund school systems that put these skills first.
So, what do we do in this world where AI rules? Time to rethink schooling, encourage creativity, and get ready for a world where AI and humans can live together peacefully.
Have a conversation! What changes do you think AI will make in your field? Tell us what you think below! ⚡✨

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to participate in another fantastic session organised by GetSeen Ventures, led by Vinitra Swamy, PhD researcher at EPFL. The discussion focused on Explainable AI, Transfer Learning, and AI applications in Education. 🤖📚
Here are my top three takeaways:
1️⃣ Explainable AI (XAI) is crucial for building trust in AI models, auditing their mistakes, and improving their decision-making processes. It ensures that humans can understand and confidently act on the insights provided by AI, especially in sensitive fields like education and healthcare. 🧠🔍
2️⃣ Methods like SHAP (Shapley Additive Explanations) and DiCE (Diverse Counterfactual Explanations) provide valuable insights by explaining how different features contribute to model predictions. However, these methods often disagree on what factors matter, highlighting the need for trust and consistency in explainability techniques. 🤔⚖️
3️⃣ When using AI in human-centric areas like education, it’s important that explanations are consistent, actionable, and easy for non-data scientists to understand. The framework for Explainability Needs emphasizes accuracy and real-time feedback, enabling educators to make timely, informed decisions. 💡🎓
Many thanks to Vinitra Swamy and GetSeen Ventures for another enlightening session! I’m excited to dive deeper into these topics and see their impact on AI-driven solutions. 🚀
