Hi Friends. I pleased to share that at the ASA & AFRA Conference I'll be presenting in two workshops. Here's their descriptions: LIMITED DISASSEMBLY OPERATIONS: This workshop will look at the growing practice of disassembling smaller assemblies (meaning you're not disassembling an entire aircraft or engine) to be harvested for parts. The workshop will examine the 'Whys' and 'Hows' as well as best-practice suggestions and a discussion of trace. ESD PROTECTION AND PRACTICES Whether you are a Distributor or Disassembler, this workshop will cover theory with a focus on the practical application of ESD protection and handling and draw from the ASA and Draft AFRA ESD Best practice documents.
Big thanks to CAVU Aerospace for being a Business Class Sponsor at #ASAAFRA2024 🤠 Your support keeps our aviation dreams soaring high! 🛩️✨ #AviationHeroes #ThankYouCAVU 🛩️ #AviationExcellence #AFRAmember #ASAMember #AFRABMP #ASA-100 #AviationDisassembly #commitment2quality #environmentallyfriendly #SustainableAviation

The National Aerospace Industry Corporation Malaysia (NAICO Malaysia) acts as a vital link between industry players, government agencies and academia to strengthen the capabilities and capacities of Malaysian #aerospace companies. Its aim? To ultimately contribute to the realization of the government's New Industrial Master Plan 2030, which aims to transform Malaysia into a global center for manufacturing services in all industries including aerospace. But how can this be achieved? NAICO Malaysia decided to train local aerospace businesses to use Dassault Systèmes’ #3DEXPERIENCE platform. To do so, NAICO Malaysia is establishing "Malaysia Aerospace Centre of Excellence (MyAERO Centre) 3D Visualization Lab," a learning environment where aerospace companies can familiarize themselves with the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and its solutions. Local businesses will have the opportunity to discover the power of the platform, including its capabilities to accelerate #sustainable innovation in the aerospace industry. They can explore its 3D design capabilities, project and data management functionalities and will be able to find out how key stakeholders across the aerospace value chain can use the software to better collaborate and optimize their supply chains, and learn how it can help with process planning and robotics programming. Discover how the 3DEXPERIENCE platform will help NAICO Malaysia to meet its objectives: #AerospaceDefense

Business Development & Portfolio Manager | AIRBUS | ✈️ Tankers, Transport & Mission Programmes | Executive MBA, PMP®| #Airbassador
https://lnkd.in/dHizNwDM Sergio Hidalgo Learreta Maria Angeles Marti Martinez A330 #MRTT ✈️⛽️ Airbus Defence and Space Airbus #AI #Airbassador As the most capable new-generation tanker, combat-proven and with unique multi-role capabilities, the A330 MRTT – based on the successful A330-200 – is the benchmark for multi-role tankers. As a new-generation tanker, the A330 MRTT is a perfect replacement for older aircraft under fleet replacement programmes. With more than 80 total aircraft sales, the A330 MRTT has been ordered by Australia (as launch customer), France, NATO, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, the UK, Spain and Canada. The A330 MRTT can carry up to 111 tonnes of fuel; this is the highest capacity of all tanker aircraft, even those with additional fuel tanks in the cargo deck. It has the capacity of offloading 50,000 kg of fuel to a broad range of receivers during a four-hour loitering mission at over 1,000 nm from its take-off point. The A330 MRTT is the most effective tanker based on its unmatched fuel capacity that allows it to offload more fuel at any given distance than any competitor. More fuel on-board means more flexibility, more range and longer time on station. Its enormous fuel capacity allows the A330 MRTT to act as a force multiplier, improving the efficiency and effectiveness of fast jets operations. To refuel receptacle-equipped aircraft such as the F-16 Fighting Falcon, F-35A Lightning II, or another the A330 MRTT (when fitted with a Universal Aerial Refuelling Receptacle Slipway Installation, UARRSI), the A330 MRTT is provided with the advanced Airbus Defence and Space Aerial Refuelling Boom System (ARBS). Its fast fuel flow rate (up to a maximum of 3,600 kg/min – 1,200 US gal/min) makes the ARBS the most capable new-generation flight-proven boom available. Excellent handling qualities are provided for the operation of the ARBS, rated as such by independent assessments.
