No matter what you’re doing—eating a sandwich, doing an interview, working on some gizmo, writing a report—you’re doing it mindfully or mindlessly. When you do it mindfully, curiosity is always present. As a result, you might try different ways. When you do it mindlessly, you never question. You become a fundamentalist.
