One of the key errors schools make is discouraging students from making mistakes. Learning and growth often hinge on making mistakes, much like a baby learning to walk depends on falling down as part of the process. Choosing our teachers wisely is crucial. Historically, education has focused on identifying the brightest students and preparing them for professions like law and accounting, mirroring King Arthur’s approach in his court. This history sheds light on the evolution of education’s purpose. Education isn’t just about academic success; it’s about learning from errors, cultivating critical thinking, and nurturing a growth mindset. As Robert Kiyosaki aptly put it, “A mistake is a signal that it is time to learn something new, something you didn’t know before.” Share your thoughts on the importance of learning from mistakes in education and how it has contributed to your personal and professional growth. #RobertKiyosaki #RobertKiyosakifinancial #RichDadPoorDad #FinancialMindset #FinancialFreedom

Today, as GCSE results are released I want to share a fantastic short video called, "I Sued the School System," It argues that the system is outdated, designed during an era when conformity and obedience were prized over creativity and individuality. It critiques the way the system often stifles unique talents and forces students into a narrow definition of success, largely based on standardised testing. But life isn’t about standardised tests; it’s about finding and nurturing your passions, embracing your individuality, and continuously learning and growing. 👉 Here’s what I want you to remember: -Your value isn't determined by a letter or a number. -Life offers countless paths to success. -Education is about more than exams. To those who may be feeling disheartened today, take heart. The path to success is not linear, and setbacks do not define your destination. Continue to pursue your passions, seek out opportunities for growth, and never stop learning. Remember, the most successful people are not always those with the highest grades, but those with the determination to keep going, no matter the obstacles. https://lnkd.in/e4wgBpJr
