Cannon Shot

The Cannon Shot is Dixie Kong's Special Shot in Mario Hoops 3-on-3. It can be activated by tapping out a triangle twice. The sequence begins with Dixie throwing the ball, which glows yellow with decorative stars upward, straight upward.[1] A Barrel Cannon falls from above and catches the ball. Dixie flips back on the cannon, which shoots the ball into the hoop, creating a red fiery effect with confetti in various colors. The move is used identically outside of the three-point line, except the ball is dunked by a teammate.[2]
