Slap Down is a Battle minigame in Mario Party 3.

Overview[edit]

The four players are around a table, each having their own large glove and corresponding red button. The flower icon changes continuously before stopping.

Appearing to be based on slapjack, each player tries to press their red button first, slapping their mechanical glove, when the revolving panel has an icon matching the larger one in the center. The larger icon depicts one of five flowers randomly. If a player activates their mechanism with poor timing, they are removed from the minigame. If all but one player activates their mechanism with poor timing, the remaining player wins, but if either every player presses their button at the wrong time or none of them do at the right time, it is a draw.
