MENA returned for its sixth edition at VIFF Centre and neighbouring venues, boasting 43 shorts and feature films, industry activations, critical panels, townhall and after party, over six days, from Saturday, January 25 to January 30.
MENA Film Festival launched its fifth edition as MENA 5, partnering again with VIFF Centre to bring work by Canadian and international filmmakers from across the MENA/SWANA region and its diaspora to Vancouver. With 42 feature and short films spanning 25 countries, this is the most regionally representative MENA festival to date!
MENA and VIFF teamed up again for the fourth annual MENA Film Festival from Nov 27 – Dec 1, 2022, with an expanded roster of shorts, panels and its first MENA Industry Event.
MENA returned for its first in-person edition since theatres opened! The third edition ran from November 21-27, 2021! We were proud to partner with the VIFF Centre's Vancity & Studio Theatre for the first in-person MENA Film Festival since theatres opened.
The MENA Film Festival is available for the first time across Canada via our first streamed festival! The entire 2020 MENA catalog is available online and we have curated a selection of Shorts Bundles and Feature Selections.
