What’s it like having a writer for a mum?

It’s pretty purr-fect! There’s always something exciting happening. I get to see all the colourful illustrations first and sometimes I even help edit – by walking across the keyboard, of course.

Em...she writes in her 'office' (a table in her bedroom), in the kitchen, in bed, on her tablet, in her notebook, on her laptop... Her process involves lots of coffee, sometimes snacks (which I try to sneak). and chasing me off her keyboard.
